Add upsell options to your booking system

That is now possible with the latest RentAccent update. From now on, you can add dynamic extras to your booking process, fully customizable per rental item, booking, or specific booking module. This functionality is ideal for upselling, service fees, discounts, or other booking-related options. And customers will see all of this clearly presented in the redesigned, user-friendly confirmation email.
 

Extras with flexible choices — and price variations

It was already possible to add optional or mandatory extras to a booking, but this feature has now been significantly expanded. From now on, you can add a selection field that allows customers to choose from predefined options. Examples include:
 

  1. paid add-ons (such as a picnic basket, breakfast, extra luggage, or a child seat)
  2. service fees or end-of-stay cleaning
  3. discount options (e.g., a discount code or bundle deal)
  4. preferences or practical choices (such as dietary requirements or arrival time)


You decide whether the extras are:
 

  1. optional or mandatory
  2. a positive price, negative price (discount), or free
  3. applied per rental item or to the entire booking


Configurable on three levels

You can use extras flexibly, tailored to your specific situation:

Per rental item
For example: a repair kit for a bicycle or breakfast for an overnight stay

Per booking
Examples include: additional service fees, half-board, cycling routes, or customer preferences

Per booking module
Useful when managing multiple websites or audiences. For example: end-of-stay cleaning for a vacation rental or checkout fees for shop rentals

This flexibility not only makes the booking process more customer-friendly, but also gives you greater control over sales and service.
 

New layout for the confirmation email

After completing a booking, every customer automatically receives a confirmation email. This email has now been completely redesigned and optimized. Extras are displayed clearly and neatly to prevent misunderstandings. The layout has also been improved: more structured, more mobile-friendly, and optimized for display in Gmail, Outlook, and various webmail clients. This creates a better experience for your customers — and fewer questions for your front office.
