Booking system with discount codes: offer promotions via RentAccent

Do you want to run promotions, offer discount codes, or apply vouchers in your booking process? With the newest feature in RentAccent, you can now easily create and apply discount codes within your booking system. This makes it easier to reward customers, organize seasonal promotions, or offer something extra to loyal guests. Whether you work with a fixed amount or a percentage discount: you decide the rules. This new feature makes RentAccent even more complete as a reservation system with discount codes for every type of rental business.
 

Manage discount codes in your booking environment

After logging in, you will see a new menu item called Discount codes. Here you can easily create a new code by clicking Add. The system automatically generates a unique code for you, but you can of course adjust it yourself — for example to something recognizable like SUMMER2024 or LOYALCUSTOMER10.
 

How do these discount codes work in your booking system?

You decide how the discount code should function. You can choose from, among others:

Type of discount

1. Fixed amount, for example €10 discount
2. Percentage, for example 15% discount

The discount is calculated on the total reservation amount, excluding the security deposit.

Usage limit
You determine how many times a discount code may be used in total. For example:

1. a one-time personal code
2. a general code valid 100 times
3. a temporary promotional code for a mailing campaign

Validity period
You can optionally specify the period during which a discount code may be used. This allows you to:

1. schedule promotions in advance
2. activate codes temporarily or let them expire automatically
3. create codes without an expiration date if no period is set

One code per reservation – clear and simple

Only one discount code can be used per reservation. This keeps the booking process clear and prevents combinations that could lead to errors or excessive discounts. For the customer, it’s simple: during the booking process, an input field appears where the code can be entered directly. The system automatically recalculates the new total amount.
