With our booking system RentAccent, we continuously work on making the rental process smarter, more flexible, and easier to use. In this update, we introduce four new features that give rental businesses more control over pricing policies, communication, and presentation — including full English-language support.
For rental businesses that experience fluctuating demand throughout the year (such as high and low seasons), it is now possible to define different prices and minimum stay durations for specific periods. Whether you want to charge higher rates during the summer season or require a minimum rental period of several days during busy holiday periods, periodic pricing makes this easy to configure per rental object. This feature gives rental businesses more flexibility in their pricing strategy and eliminates the need to manually adjust rates when seasons change.
How to configure this:
Log in and open the rental object. Under 'Periodic pricing', you can define different rates and a minimum stay for each period.
Sometimes it is necessary to inform customers about important details before they make a booking. For example, conditions such as “children up to 3 years stay free” or temporary limitations such as maintenance on certain rental items. You can now add a prominent notice that is displayed at the top of the booking module. This message immediately catches attention and helps prevent misunderstandings and additional questions.
How to configure this:
In the system, go to 'Booking Module > Notes' shown in the booking module. The message will appear in a blue bar above the rental objects.
The way you present your rental objects in the booking module can influence customer booking behavior. Would you like to show your most popular item first? Or highlight a package with the highest margin? You can now easily determine the order in which objects appear to visitors. This allows you to prioritize what matters most to you — whether commercially or operationally.
How to configure this:
Go to 'Rental Objects' and click 'Change order'. You can then easily arrange the objects in your preferred sequence.
Good news for businesses operating internationally: the RentAccent Booking Manager is now available in English. When logging in, users can select their preferred language at the bottom of the screen. This makes the RentAccent booking system ready for broader use outside the Netherlands and Belgium, or for teams working in multiple languages. This addition makes it easier to provide access to international staff members.
