
RentAccent will soon launch its own mobile app, allowing you to scan and manage reservations instantly via QR code — directly from your smartphone. This addition makes RentAccent even more complete as a booking system with an app, ideal for rental businesses that value speed, clarity, and ease of use.
The RentAccent app is a convenient mobile extension of your existing reservation environment. You use it to quickly and securely access up-to-date reservation details by simply scanning a QR code. The app will be available for both iOS and Android and can be used on multiple phones at the same time — so your colleagues or staff can work with it as well.
How does it work?
Each reservation automatically receives a unique QR code. This code is included in the reservation confirmation sent to the customer or guest and is also accessible via the Booking Manager. When the guest arrives, they present the QR code (digitally or on paper). You scan it using the app, and within seconds you can view:

The app will be launched soon, but a free beta version will be made available first. This allows you to get familiar with the app, test it in your own daily operations, and provide feedback before the final version goes live.
We are currently running pilot tests to fine-tune the app’s functionality. Once it proves stable, the official release will follow. This is expected in February 2025. Of course, we will announce this in a future newsletter and on our website. So stay tuned!
