RentAccent now supports package trips, events and day tours

With the new season approaching, RentAccent continues to evolve — based on feedback from our affiliated rental businesses and changing market demands. One of the latest features is perfect for rentals on fixed dates or specific days, such as day trips, events, or package deals. This function now makes it possible to restrict rentals or bookings to a single date or short period. As a result, RentAccent expands into a full-fledged booking system for events, organized activities, and ticket sales.

New flexibility: rental on fixed dates

This feature opens the door to completely new booking concepts. Ideal for:

1. Organized day trips
2. Temporary packages
3. Admission tickets for one-off events
4. Package holidays or seasonal specials

You decide which day(s) a product can be booked; customers cannot book outside those dates. This gives you full control over availability, while the calendar automatically jumps to the correct date.
 

How does it work?

• Create a new bookable item (formerly: rental object)
• Fill in all the necessary information
• Scroll down and add one or more fixed booking dates under ‘Allowed dates’
• Save — and you're done!

During booking, the calendar will automatically jump to the correct date. Your customers will only see what is relevant.

For boat rental companies

1. Day trips & excursions: such as a sailing trip or canal cruise on a set date
2. One-time events: e.g. boat rentals during a water sports event
3. Combo packages: including food, drinks or dinner

For bike rental companies

1. Themed tours or e-bike days: organized routes on specific days
2. Introductory days: e.g. try-out sessions for new bikes
3. Open days or workshops: registrations now via the booking system

For accommodations & travel agencies

1. Package trips & specials: including accommodation and activity

This new booking feature is ideal to combine with the RentAccent app, which lets you easily scan the booking via QR code upon arrival. Perfect for controlled access to events, day activities, or tours.
